DayZ | How To: Custom Day/Time Settings

To modify Day and Time Settings, follow the guide below:

1. Stop your server.
   
   
2. Click "Configuration Files"
   
   
3. Click "Configuration Editor" next to 'serverDZ.cfg'
   
   
4. Find 'Time Acceleration' and modify according to the text in bold
   // Accelerated Time (value 0-24) // This is a time multiplier for in-game time. In this case time would move 24 times faster than normal, an entire day would pass in one hour.
   
   
5. Find 'Server Night Time Acceleration' and modify according to the text in bold:
   // Accelerated Night Time - The numerical value being a multiplier (0.1-64) and also multiplied by Time Acceleration value. Thus, in case it is set to 4 and Time Acceleration is set to 2, nighttime would move 8 times faster than normal. An entire night would pass in 3 hours
   
   
6. Save the file in the top left.
